BOARDING REQUIREMENTS:
All cats must be in general good health.
We require proof of vaccinations. No cat will be admitted without current vaccinations on file. Vaccinations CANNOT be given within 10 days of a boarding visit. (See vaccination page for more info.) 
All cats must be spayed or neutered.  
All cats above 6 months of age.
For the safety of your pet, if your cat is: not in good health, under 6 months of age, an extremely nervous boarder, or very elderly, we suggest boarding at your veterinarian. 

Cats are boarded single in nice, large, clean crates with a small bed, a carpeted ledge, toys, food & water bowls and a litter box. We do have crates large enough for multiple cat families. These crates are cleaned daily and the cats are attended to throughout the day.

The cat area, which is on the other side of the property from the dog boarding area, is quiet and comfortable. There is a big picture window in the cat area for viewing of birds and squirrels. We have soothing music on 24 hours for the kitties to listen to. We believe the cats deserve just as much care as the dogs. Cats are not second class citizens at Longview. If your cat is friendly, we offer Playtimes $5 (inside a special cat den) with your cat & a trained worker.

We serve Friskies Dry & Canned Food. You may want to bring your cat's food from home, if different than ours. At bedtime all cats get a couple of soft treats and/or catnip. Water is available 24 hours a day.

The kitties day starts at 7:00am when they are given fresh food and water. If they want to roam the cat room, while their crate is cleaned out, they can. Cats are allowed to roam inside, singularly only. Then again around 4:00 pm, their food and water is checked and refilled, then their crate is tidied.

Longview's owner (Cherie Noullet), being a multiple cat owner herself, goes into the Cat Boarding Area daily to pet and play with the kitties.

Medications can be administered if needed. There is a $1.00 fee per day. Please bring all medications in their original container with name and dose instructions. We carry canned cat food & feline pill pockets for any pill medications.
