We request that all boarders be on a FLEA/TICK PREVENTION PROGRAM from your vet (Advantage, Frontline, Capstar, etc.). This is for your pet's protection. Flea collars are NOT considered an appropriate flea/tick preventative. We work our hardest to keep our facilities clean, sanitary and flea-free, and we need your cooperation. All buildings are sprayed periodically. Summertime is the worst time for fleas.

We will refuse to board your pet if there is evidence of fleas and/or ticks.
We also recommend that you ask your vet about the canine influenza vaccination H3N8. See our link above.

Any information related to your pet's medical history and/or behavioral traits that may be important to his/her care should be told to us and noted on their run card. Examples: seizures, afraid of thunder/fireworks, climbs fences, vomits often, arthritis, ate something unusual before their visit, leery of men, etc. These are things we need to know.

*We ask for the 14-day period between vaccines/vet visits and boarding/day care because we are trying to keep ALL boarders safe from any illness possibly "carried" into the facility from a pet who has been at their vet recently. Pets go to the vet for issues other than just vaccinations. We also do not want a pet having a reaction to their recent vaccines while boarding.*
